Rice Lake late winter photos (2003)
Rice Lake Area Association (RLAA) - Trying our best to improve our lake!
The Rice Lake Area Association installed a winter aeration unit in late December 2002. The unit had been running "as needed" until the end of January, when shifting winds sunk the unit under ice.
RLAA members have surveyed the area to begin recovery operations in February. If you have any resources or ideas on how to help resurrect the aerator, please contact the RLAA at the e-mail link below.
Here are a few aerial photos taken in January of the north end of Rice Lake where the aerator has been placed back when it was in operation.
