Background: The private boat ramp on Rice Lake is owned by a homeowner who has graciously allowed RLAA (Rice Lake Area Association) members access to the lake. In order to maintain access only to those who are paying RLAA dues members, the RLAA Board of Directors has worked with the homeowner to install security features which will help restrict access to only those who have legal rights to it.
This communication was made to shoreline residents via e-mail on February 14, 2021. Letters were be sent to those shoreline residents who we do not have e-mail addresses for in the 2nd half of February.
On May 4, 2021, the keypad and locking mechanism were installed on the eastern-most post (see last photo below). If you need assistance gaining access through this ramp, contact us at ricelakeassoc@comcast.net for further help.
