loading externally and internally to the lake, algae blooms will begin to
decrease and water clarity will begin to increase.<span

riorate
overnight so to it isn&#8217;t going to improve overnight either.<span

quality practices, improvements should be steadily realized.</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal>External Phosphorus Load &#8211; These are sources of
phosphorus that come from outside <span class=3DGramE>the<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>lake</span> in the watershed.</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal style=3D'margin-left:.5in'>Watershed &#8211; The water=
shed for
<st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:PlaceName w:st=3D"on">Rice</st1:PlaceName> <st1=
:PlaceType
 w:st=3D"on">Lake</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> is 17,200 acres excluding the=
 lake
area of 333 acres.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>This is ab=
out a 52
to 1 ratio when comparing the size of the watershed to the lake size.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>Due to the <span class=3DSpellE>st=
ormwater</span>
drainage system everyone in the watershed is essentially a lakeshore owner
since what comes off of their lawns runs directly into the lake. </p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal style=3D'margin-left:1.0in'>Development &#8211; This is
continuing to expand and change the watershed.<span

more of the watershed becomes impervious.</p>
