As of Friday, January 4, the Maple Grove City Council does not have this item on their next meeting agenda (http://nwsccc-maplegrove.granicus.com/GeneratedAgendaViewer.php?view_id=4&event_id=526) scheduled for Monday, January 7 at 7:30 pm at the Maple Grove Government Center), so this topic will need to be raised during the Open Forum segment of the meeting.
If you would like to voice your opinion on the subject and encourage your City Council to vote on this item, please plan to attend this meeting!

As of Friday, January 25, a survey to Rice Lake Area residents was completed seeking input on the Noise Wall #1 project (from Weaver Lake Road to the 1st bridge). Results of that survey can be found in these documents:
This data was sent to the City of Maple Grove to the attention of the City Council members to assist them when they vote on the project.
Looking ahead, there will be another Public Meeting on Tuesday, January 29 from 6-8:00 pm at the Maple Grove Government Center (Emergency Operations Center) for an update on this project.

As of Monday, February 4, the Maple Grove City Council recommended approving Noise Wall #1 by a vote of 4 to 1. The vote will be submitted by the Public Works department. View the February 4th City Council meeting at:

As of Friday, February 15, MN DOT recognizes that Noise Wall #1 has been approved by enough votes. The other 3 walls up for voting also appear to have enough to be approved at this time.
