Rice Lake/Elm Creek Lake Levels page
This page was created to inform RLAA members about lake level information on Rice Lake and Elm Creek. The drought of 2026 necessitated this page creation.
As most of you have noticed, the water level on Rice Lake/Elm Creek has been exceptionally low this season. Basically, there are two (2) variables involved: 1) Lack of precipitation in the watershed (drought); 2) Inability to fully control the bypass at the dam. See the attached documents for more information related to these issues.
